Giggling slightly she nodded. “Oui…I’m quite starved actually. I was a bundle of nerves at dinner and couldn’t eat much.”

Ball Time

Belle knew if she was caught here Adam would be furious. She would probably be punished severely for it but she wanted to be around her friends and not holed up in the castle. If it costed her a night in the tower it was a price Belle was willing to pay. She was a few hours late but she couldn’t sneak out until just now. Stepping up to the castle she smoothed out the wrinkles in her yellow gown and fixed her curled hair around her shoulders. Breathing in deep she made sure the mask covered her face and stepped inside. She noticed not a lot of people were there. They must be somewhere else in the castle.
